JetBlue, the US airline that offers the most legroom in economy seats, is restyling its interiors to be even more comfortable.

WalletHub named JetBlue the most comfortable US airline of 2018, but the company has plans to make things even more comfortable. As the airline restyles the interiors of its A320 planes, which make up the majority of its fleet, there are a few new features to keep an eye on.

Unfortunately, the seats won’t actually come with more legroom in fact, seat pitch will drop from 34 inches to 32 inches, though JetBlue still claims this is the roomiest of any US airline. However, there will be new seats that are designed to be easier to sit on. They are also the widest seat that can be put on an A320 at 18 inches in width, according to JetBlue, and are contoured to give you some much-needed space at the knees. Some aircraft have already been retrofitted with the additions, while more will be completed by the end of the year.

But if you care less about how comfortable you are and more about whether you can check email or watch TV, there’s also good news. Another focus of the updates is adding a new in-flight entertainment system, high-definition televisions, power outlets with USB ports, and gate-to-gate high-speed internet.

While this is mostly aimed at travellers in North America, it might also bode well for travellers looking to cross the Atlantic. JetBlue is expected to begin offering flights to Europe later this year, with London likely to be its first destination.
